This needed an update as this is no longer a character journal.

Kyndelfire is my online persona, the name I use everywhere and for everything, and to my knowledge I'm the only one who uses it. (Go ahead, do a google search, I dare you.) Anyway, Kyndel started out as a role playing character I used in Mystical Realms until they decided to rehaul the site, delete all the characters and not let me back in. Oh well, their loss.

Up until that point, this had been strictly a chaacter journal, written from the point of view of an elven priestess who had suddenly found herself in the middle of a war. So, if you happen to notice odd entries in the beginning...it's not because I'm psychotic and think I'm someone else from time to time.

So, now that we've got that cleared away, how about now?

I'm Michi, well Melissa if you want to get technical, but everyone calls me Michi...just a cute little nickname I got courtesy of Kela (darkmoonangel) when I was a freshman in high school, and it stuck. I'm now a feshman in college. I attend CSU Sacramento, and my time there is split between majoring in Forensic Chemistry, pole vaulting on scholarship, and attempting to be some sort of photographer. Some days I'm good at all three...others, I honesty wonder what the hell I was thinking. When I have a bit of spare time, I enjoy playing pool and laser tag, and of course, I love spending every extra moment with my boyfriend. I only wish he lived closer...but, soon enough, soon enough.

Besides all that, I'm addicted to fairies and fantasy and magic and mythology...all things that are exciting and seemingly long dead. Chivalry still lives I tell you! The only downside, is the man who has it likes to joust with windmills. And in a way, maybe I'm not so different from our unlikely hero. I often slip away into a dreamland where this world is no longer daily drudgery in dirty cities and money obsessed business men. I can look at it differently, and know that I'm going to school because it is one more challenge set before me. I train for the greater purpose, perhaps for a war where my knowledge could be the key...and then sometimes I wake up and go, "WTF? What were you thinking? Snap out of it and take your work seriously." The problem, is it's hard to take work seriously, when it's often very boring.

I'm not sure what else to include, I suppose I could include that I like lots of music, especially techno and realy dark music. Not because I think I'm some uber-depressed goth or anything and I have an image to keep up...I just like the sound of it. It's musical, the singers I enjoy have real talent, and the music means something to them. I probably sound like a complete retard going off on this tangent, but I hate that all the mucisians at the top of the music charts are people who are in it just for the money, and they are just singers, letting everyone else write their music and lyrics, and play the instruments for them. I think music is as much an artform as painting or writing, and it's painful to see that the most popular, often care very little for their music.

*looks up* That was a very long tangent...I should try to avoid that in the future. Oh well. I can't think of anything else about me that would be worthy of being in a "mini" biography, but if you really want to know more...read the journal, duh.
